Students Study Design from Various Angles and Create Design Works That Enrich People’s Lives.

Students create their own two-year program by combining core courses, that cover design essentials and span from basic knowledge to specialized topics, and courses specifically targeting the fields of accessories and interior decoration and design. In the first year, students learn basics starting with areas of personal interest. Through this, they discern their own goals. In the second year, they expand their specialized knowledge in line with their personal study objectives. The Department of Living Arts develops creative people who can envision, propose, and create, from various angles, enriching lifestyles through the design of accessories, shops, furniture, and lighting fixtures.
