プロフィール

慶應義塾大学文学部卒業、米国カリフォルニア州立大学大学院言語学科留学、国際基督教大学大学院博士前期課程修了、津田塾大学大学院博士後期課程単位取得後満期退学
大学院在学中より言語学の研究のほかにNHK において多重放送・衛星放送の翻訳業務にも従事
1993年4月より本学の専任教員、2019年現代文化学部長に就任
2024年より特任教授
